Strike Crafts are specialized units that you equip to your ships, significantly boosting their overall power and effectiveness in battle. Each Strike Craft type plays a unique role, and understanding how to use them effectively can greatly impact the outcome of your engagements. Strike Crafts are classified based on their range and size, and their behavior in combat can vary depending on your ships' abilities and tech trees.
Strike Craft Range
Strike Crafts are divided into two main range categories, which determine their behavior in combat:
Strike Craft Types:
Strike Crafts come in three different types, each requiring a specific number of Command Points to deploy. Command Points are determined by your ship’s Command Capacity, so managing these points effectively is crucial.
Strike Craft Stats:
Each Strike Craft comes with specific stats that influence its performance in battle. Understanding these stats is key to using them effectively:
By selecting the right combination of Strike Crafts and balancing their range and size, you can create a highly effective strike force that complements your ship’s abilities and tech tree upgrades. Mastering Strike Craft deployment is key to dominating the battlefield.
Close Range: These units focus on engaging enemy close-range units first. They will continue attacking close-range units until none remain, at which point they will close the distance to attack long-range units.
Long Range: These units are positioned behind close-range units and are protected by them during battle. Long-range units primarily attack enemy close-range units first and only target long-range enemies once the close-range threats have been neutralized.
Light Units: These Strike Crafts are small and agile, requiring only 1 Command Point to deploy. Light units are ideal for quick strikes and overwhelming numbers.
Medium Units: Slightly larger and more powerful than light units, medium units require 2 Command Points to deploy. They offer a good balance between speed and firepower.
Heavy Units: The most powerful Strike Crafts in your arsenal, heavy units require 4 Command Points to deploy. These units deal significant damage but take up more space in your ship’s Command Capacity.
Damage: The minimum and maximum damage a single unit of this Strike Craft can deal in each combat round. Higher damage increases the Strike Craft’s offensive capabilities.
Health: The HP of the Strike Craft, which determines how much damage it can take before being destroyed.
Defense: The amount of incoming damage the Strike Craft can mitigate. Higher defense stats reduce the amount of damage the unit takes in combat.
Initiative: Determines the turn rate of the Strike Craft in combat rounds. Strike Crafts with higher initiative will attack earlier in the round.
Speed: This stat affects the movement speed on the map. The slowest strike craft in a battle group determines the movement speed of the entire battle group.
Siege: The amount of siege damage the Strike Craft does each round
