### Galaxy Map

The Galaxy Map provides a comprehensive overview of the entire game’s galaxy, displaying key features such as planets, regions, territories, and more. It’s an essential tool for navigation, strategic planning, and territorial control. You can access it through the Galaxy Map button on the HUD.

This feature helps with strategic planning and monitoring the state of the galaxy.</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Control Points**

Control Points are critical locations on the map that determine control over regions. They are highly defended and often require a coordinated attack by multiple faction members to defeat the defenders and capture the point. Once captured, Control Points:

Grant full control over the region to the faction that holds the point. <strong>Control Points</strong> are key to gaining regional dominance, making them high-priority targets in faction wars.</td></tr><tr><td><div><figure><img src="/files/oMq7UidcXGC9RcYUGEkk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure></div></td><td></td></tr></tbody></table>

**Crossing Points**

To navigate these obstacles, players must capture <strong>Crossing Points</strong>—special tiles that act as bridges over the impassable terrain. Controlling a Crossing Point allows you and your faction to traverse otherwise inaccessible parts of the map.</td></tr></tbody></table>

**Saved Pins**

You can mark important locations on the Galaxy Map using Saved Pins. Here’s how they work:

* Pinning a Tile: Click the pin button on the tile selection menu to place a pin on a tile. Once pinned, the tile will display a pin icon, and a link to it is saved to your list of pinned locations.
* Removing Pins: After a tile is pinned, the pin button changes to a remove pin button, which allows you to remove the pin.
* Accessing Saved Pins: You can view all your saved pins by clicking the dedicated button on the HUD. This feature provides quick access to important locations for easy navigation.\ <br>
